The Art of the Deal

Unlock the inner workings of a successful M&A transaction at the next AM&AA Houston Chapter Young Professionals event. This special luncheon, The Art of the Deal, features an inside look at a recent transaction led by two leaders in the M&A space—Jessica Seff of Statesman Corporate Finance and Travis Johnson of BoyarMiller.

Through a candid, real-world case study, Jessica and Travis will share how their firms partnered to structure, negotiate, and close the deal—highlighting the dynamic between investment bankers and transaction attorneys. You'll gain unique insight into their distinct yet deeply intertwined roles, learn how legal and financial strategies are aligned throughout the process, and understand how collaboration drives success at every stage of the transaction.

Whether you're new to the world of mergers and acquisitions or looking to sharpen your deal-making edge, this session offers valuable lessons in coordination, communication, and closing with confidence.

Seating is limited. Reserve your spot by June 9th and come ready to network, learn, and be inspired.

Participants will earn 1.0 CPE credit in the Field of Study: Specialized Knowledge.

In order to be awarded the full credit hours, you must be present, registering your attendance and departure on the attendance sheets at the registration desk.
