Melissa Pozniak is a Partner in Transaction Advisory Services. She specializes in tax structuring and advising both buy- and sell-side transaction services to corporate, pass-through, and private equity companies. Pozniak has extensive experience in tax due diligence analysis, transaction structuring, deal negotiation support, and post-transaction planning assistance in a wide variety of industries. She began her career in 1997 with a large international accounting firm, where she spent more than 18 years working with private equity funds, real estate entities, and privately held companies and their owners. Pozniak is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Cleveland Chapter of Association for Corporate Growth. She is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
