Javier Aguirre is a Co-Founder of Farragut Capital Partners. He first joined its predecessor firm, SPP Mezzanine Partners, in 2007 as VP and served on the firm's Investment Committee from 2008 until 2011. Before SPP Mezzanine, Aguirre was with Lehman Brothers' Investment Management Division in New York. He worked on strategic acquisitions and various organic growth initiatives for its $175 billion institutional asset management business. He began his investing career at Darby Overseas Investments, a global emerging markets private equity and venture capital firm founded and led by former U.S. Treasury Secretary Nicholas Brady.
