Mr. Margulis is the founder and Managing Partner of Alignment Credit, a NY-based alternative investment firm focused on lower middle-market and emerging growth lending and credit investing. Since inception in 2014, Alignment has underwritten, financed and managed over $100m in secured debt commitments to lower middle-market and emerging growth businesses in financial services, TMT, retail / consumer, education, software and health services sectors.  Mr. Margulis has over 20 years of experience in private credit, private equity, management consulting and corporate finance advisory with the leading firms including Equifin Capital, McKinsey, Bear Stearns, KPMG and Accenture. He received his M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Odessa National University in Ukraine. Mr. Margulis has served on the boards of directors of several private companies and performs board observation duties at Alignment portfolio investments.
