Dean Meyer is responsible for business management of Freddie Mac’s non-routine mortgage litigation. Meyer has also been responsible for oversight of Freddie Mac’s foreclosure/bankruptcy loan inventory and the servicers that managed these loans. This included foreclosure/bankruptcy timeline management and compensatory fees management for nonperforming loans. Prior to joining Servicing Operations, he served as the Director of Servicing Operations Policy, where his team was responsible for developing and publishing all servicing contract requirements for Freddie Mac’s Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide. A veteran of over 35 years in the mortgage industry, Meyer joined Freddie Mac in 1999. Prior to Freddie Mac, he held leadership positions in mortgage servicing and nonperforming loan management for several small and large mortgage companies. He also worked on contracts with FHA, managing servicing operations and claims audits.
