ReNee D. Brooks is the VP for Legal Risk at Truist where she manages Legal Risk for mortgage servicing, including default litigation, mediations, due diligence, title, and attorney management. A graduate of the University of Richmond E. Claiborne Robbins School of Business Administration and the Vanderbilt University School of Law, she had a diverse legal practice touching many corporate legal issues. Joining the mortgage industry in 2010, she has had the opportunity to manage mortgage bankruptcy, represent mortgage servicing through the recent SunTrust / BB&T merger, and facilitate several large scale legal and regulatory projects in addition to her current responsibilities.
