Sammy Hooda brings over a decade of mortgage experience across all areas of the default servicing industry. He has been named a “Super Lawyer” Texas Rising Star (2019-2021), a recognition limited to the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state. In 2018, Hooda was named one of the “Best Lawyers Under 40” by D Magazine. Hooda was the Valedictorian of his 2009 graduating law school class from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. Hooda is licensed in the states of Arizona and Texas, along with licenses to practice law in several federal bankruptcy and district courts in numerous states. He has built a reputation as a litigator and advocate within the default servicing industry, which gives him a unique perspective to manage MLG’s footprint in 20 states and serve as its General Counsel.
