No Fund, No Problem: How Independent Sponsors Get Deals Done

Independent sponsors are playing an increasingly important role in the middle market, bringing flexibility, creativity, and a differentiated approach to sourcing and executing transactions.

Join the AM&AA Houston Chapter for a candid discussion with Ross Cannion of Del Monte, Mike Alley of Freestone, and Evan Lee of Portal Drive Partners, moderated by Erik Konicki. The panel will provide an overview of today’s independent sponsor market, what they look for in an investment opportunity, and how they approach getting deals across the finish line.

Panelists will also share examples of recent transactions and discuss how they execute their investment plans after closing. Attendees will gain practical insight into how independent sponsors identify opportunities, structure deals, work with capital partners, and create value throughout the investment lifecycle.

Participants will earn 1.0 CPE credit in the Field of Study: Specialized Knowledge.

In order to be awarded the full credit hours, you must be present, registering your attendance and departure on the attendance sheets at the registration desk.
