Marlena Ewald is a Partner at Fluet and chairs the firm’s Government Contracts Practice, where she specializes in corporate and government transactional matters. With a focus on government contracting, commercial contracting, and sensitive government inquiries, Ms. Ewald provides expert advice and counsel to companies and individuals. She is well-versed in compliance with government regulations, bid protests, internal investigations, and disclosures. Her passion lies in working with small businesses and their larger partners to optimize growth through joint venture agreements, mentor-protégé agreements, and teaming agreements. Additionally, she assists clients in preparing and negotiating various agreements, including subcontracts, consulting agreements, and employment agreements. With her extensive corporate and government experience, Ms. Ewald is uniquely equipped to guide government contractors through growth, merger, sale, acquisition, and novation processes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from the College of William & Mary, and she graduated from Georgetown University Law Center.
