THE STORY OF AN EXIT: The Do’s and Don’ts When Selling Your Business

Join the AM&AA Houston Chapter on Thursday, April 18th to hear Ed tell his story from the moment he started thinking about selling the company and throughout the process of preparation, marketing, and negotiation. Now that he’s had a few months to reflect, Ed will not only share his perspective but also offer his guidance for other business owners and their advisors entering the process.

 

Ed Nasta is an entrepreneur and a natural-born leader with the drive to succeed and an unwavering belief in customer service. When Ed acquired Texcel in 2001, he set his sights on growth – to double the size of the company in 5 years. It only took 4. The company continued to grow and in 2015, created the Texcel Guarantee focusing on peak performance, no surprises, responsiveness, customization, 99.9% error-free, same-day shipping, and more. Little did Ed know just how important Texcel’s commitment to customer service, the Texcel Guarantee, and its culture would become. In December 2023, Ed sold Texcel. This is his story about the journey as Ed and Texcel began a new chapter.

  • How to navigate the challenges that surface along the way
