Ashley’s Beane’s current work focuses on legal matters involving current or potential bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings, loss mitigation, receiverships, and collection activity throughout Freddie Mac’s Single Family, Multifamily, and Investment & Capital Markets divisions. Before joining Freddie Mac, Beane spent four years as regulatory and bankruptcy in-house counsel at Capital One. Prior to that, Ashley spent almost eleven years as a bankruptcy attorney with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in their Dallas, Texas and Washington, D.C. offices, where she represented debtors and secured and unsecured creditors in complex in-court and out-of-court restructurings.
